Why Does Tulsa Want Our Tax Money For River Development

Branson Landing was financed without a raising the County tax.

The project will include $157 million in private money, $116 million in local TIF, tourism tax and other local funds, and $32.3 million in funds from the state TIF over 19 years.
Amazing isn't it

Here is what helped bring more tax revenue:

Not too many weeks ago in a public meeting, it was pointed out that the developer of Branson Landing would form a Transportation Development District (TDD) that would impose a one percent TDD tax on retail sales within the Branson Landing project.

From "Yea! Yea! it's a WOW" of an "Easter," whoops sorry "Incentive," egg hunt at Branson Landing!
